The electric ignition is no longer working on my Eno gas cooker.I clean the connections,put a new battery sometimes it works but not everytime.What can I do apart using matches.

i hesitate between a faulty switch and a faulty ignition module.

Surely you can easily short-circuit the switch to test the ignition module?

Just buy another box of matches, unless you really feel the need for auto ignition.
Mine packed up about 6 months after we bought it, can't be arsed to head 400 miles back to where we got it from or go through the warranty service thing. I can't say that not having auto ignition has affected my quality of life, or enjoyment of coking on the stove; and it is a good stove.

Talk to the Calor Gas Centre in Southampton - thay have all the Eno spares & knowhow.
