Can anyone advise a good pub to watch rugby in anywhere between Henley and Cookham? I NEED to watch the England vs Wales game at 2pm on Saturday :D

Thanks, sorry I am a bit of a rugby nut and getting very excited with the lead up to the World Cup.

Thanks Boatone!

I have been to this pub and had a very good meal here. Now I actually put my brain into gear I do remember it had a lot of rugby stuff on the walls.

My living room and open the windows for the best surround sound you will ever get...:D

I would go Henley over Cookham there are a few pubs with large screens.

Are you inviting me to your living room then? :D

You can't beat the sound of Twickenham on match days, it's my home town I grew up and went to school there!

Off to Henley soon for beer and rugby, excellent afternoon for me :)

It's busy today ! Barmy , eel pie etc and my new favourite the Sussex arms after a refit.

Hotel / bar in Henely high street does sport if recall

Had a nice couple of hours in the Eel Pie on Thursday before going to Richmond Yacht Club for fish'n'chips and an inaugral meeting as a new member :)

I ran at Twickenham in the late 70's, there were County malarkies going on, if I remember rightly.
Then went to Richmond Tertiary, which was in Twickers (!)
Had my first Snakebite in the pub close by....cannot remember the name though.
