I have a Watermota Sea Panther Diesel fitted in my boat (Seamaster 27) Is it worth spending time and money haveing it rebuilt or would I be better off replaceing it with a more modern engine, if so what would you recommend replaceing it with?

Regards Andy

As far as I am aware Watermota are still in business.
With the number of Seamaster 27's around, even accepting the different engine varieties, I would be surprised if there are not plenty of spares available.

A new engine is not normally an economic decision unless you intend to keep the boat for a very long time.
