Glad that the lads were able to get her alongside and French Marine have sorted you out for now.
On a sailing yacht, particularly one which tends to sail on her ear, a transom exhaust outlet with a swan neck in the hose to it going right up to the underside of the deckhead is always preferable, although some yacht designs make that impracticable. On Wild Thyme (centre cockpit with engine under the cockpit) the 50mm exhaust hose runs under the aft cabin sole then under the length of the bunk with the swan neck in the spacious lazarette, so it's easy.
You might like to consider moving your exhaust outlet this winter.
Back aboard tomorrow.
Lift/hold/drop for a pressure wash, grease the prop, change the anodes, take on fuel and then - hopefully - a couple of days of sailing.
