Hello all, I have purchased a Marine Projects 31 with 2x knackered Perkins 4107 diesel engines.
I would like to replace these with a more modern engine BUT I do not want to upgrade the sterndrives - Enfield 130's (cost factor).
I wish to use the vessel in tidal & coastal waters around the Irish Sea so would like some more grunt.
It seems the Enfield sterndrives can handle up to around 70HP from a diesel at around 3000 RPM or so.
Ideally the new(er) engines would be similar size to the Perkins 4107 so there is not too much faffing around with the mounts, etc.
Thanks in advance.
