Engine sevicing and electrics in Chichester

Thank you all for all the info given about protex fasteners, teak brightening and VHF connections... things are slowly staring to work on my boat and I am feeling more positive about owning a criuser.

I am looking to get advice/contacts for a marine engineer who could investigate an oil problem on an MD5 engine and a person to run over the 12V electric system to check it out and check the newly attached alternator is correctly wired. (don't worry the belt is not attached yet!)

Does anyone have reliable contacts in the Chichester area. Preferably someone who wont rip me off (boating on a budget) and if possible someone who could show me the ropes to the electrics when they checked it out...

Harbour Engineering 01243 513454 should fit the bill.

They have an electrical specialist who was happy to spend time with me talking generally about boat electrics once he had fixed a faulty relay. He was very helpful on alternators/splitting diodes/adverc systems etc
