Engine room app wanted

I'm using a Maretron system. Black box to digitise the engine sensors and a very neat configurable display to show the data. Cost about £700 all in. The OP was specifically looking for an android solution though.

http://www.maretron.com/products/ems100.php The display has been superseded mow but others are available as it's industry standard n2k not some bartardised version of it.

Eclipse ADT mostly running on fairly grunty PC, Mac occasionally when developing controls. Google is pushing Android Studio which is based on Jetbrains InteliJ platform but the community is not biting at the moment especially as the platform is still in Beta ( 0.9.9 ) and there is masses of artefact history invested in Eclipse. I use a Lenovo Tablet, a Hudle and a handful of Android phones for testing, the PC based emulator is just too slow.

Your brother and your mom is right you have the brain's and he has the looks. Well you have the brain's can be seen.

Used to do this kind of things on PC's and I mean 8086 a long time ago.

:) I started on the 8080. Used to know all the OpCodes off pat too. :)

Fun days!

I started on the Z80 in the mid 1970's first program was to write assembler and debugger that I had to right in machine code.

yes fun days, too old now as I had a team of 6 programmers before closing company and retiring.
