Good to see an engine back in it's rightful place ready to assist when the wind doesn't and the timetable says you're to be somewhere. Looks like a 1GM10 to me, if I'm right I have some spare filters etc that are needing a new home following change from 1GM10 to Beta14. They are available foc if they are of interest, usual donation to RNLI. I'm in Beckenham, the boats in Fambridge.

Did you lift it with the boom?

Lifted with main halyard moved to where the mainsheet is 2/3 back from gooseneck and topping lift tight too. Had to wind the boom up a bit higher to get engine over cockpit coaming with minimal manual intervention.

Friend took engine away in the back of his truck which he managed to reverse close enough to lower / lift from boom.
