The rear engine mounts on my Volvo 2002 are worn out and I'm in the process of replacing them and fitting a flexible shaft coupling. But the front mounts appear to be rigid with no rubber elements whatsoever. It's been like this for 22 years but is this an unusual set up? Should I try and fit flexible mounts all round? There is very little headroom between the beds and the engine feet at the front but that might improve when I do the alignment.
