engine hours Volvo Penta D4 260

just about to pay deposit on 34 ft sports cruiser 2008 with twin Volvo penta d4 260 but done 1000 hours 1 retired owner full vp dealer service history stored workshop in winter and Mediterranean in summer ie well maintained do you think these hours are excessive and are there any known faults I should look out for any help would be appreciated thank you

If the boat has been well looked after those hours shouldn't be a problem at all.

Far better to have slightly higher hours and a boat that has been cared for and serviced on time then one that has sat around ignored.
