Hi fellow forumites please feel free to comment :encouragement:

Endeavour Yacht Services [EYS] - Endeavour Quay [EQ] Clarification Notice

Endeavour Quay have no financial interest in Endeavour Yacht Services or Working Relationship whatsoever.

EQ are the landlords of the EQ site which includes the following independent tenants - You Boat - Kemp Sales - UK Docks amongst others.
EQ provide a Boat Lift - Wash Off - Chock and Re-launch Service and do not use subcontracted labour [All boat handling and office staff are PAYE Employees].

EQ offer an all-in antifoul package which they used to partner with EYS until two years ago when EYS went bust since then they use another on-site company called UK Docks who are also a totally independent company.

Princess Yachts amongst others use EQ for the big stuff that Swanwick cannot handle - That in itself is good enough for me :encouragement:

A well known fellow fourmite has unfortunately been knocked by EYS :(
Henryf stated on another thread - When they steal from you they steal from all of us - Well put sir :encouragement:

Happy Sailing

Terry :D

Hi Terry
For a clarification notice that is pretty unclear! In a case like this it's good to understand precisely what has happened, so you can work out who has done an unpleasant pre-pack (a la the Ocean LED case couple of weeks ago) which is possibly what SpottyDog has become the victim of. In relation to that I'm very sorry to hear it SD and I agree the sentiment about stealing from all of us

The problem with the "clarification notice" is that the legal persons are not correctly identified, there is random use of square brackets, random use of capitalised terms ("Working Relationship"), etc. While you can sort of think you've got a general idea of what has happened, you cannot be sure. I suppose you could trawl through Companies House records to try to stitch it together but it would be nice if this notice was just written with clarity and precision. Where did you copy that text from by the way?

Hi John,

Many thanks for your reply, as you may have gathered I put the above statement out as per the information that I have managed to gleen and did not copy the text btw - I will leave the legal jargon to others i.e you :encouragement:

Without doing a big thread drift will you by chance be attending the BMYS this weekend.

Best Regards

Terry

If anyone is interested "Portland " are the administrators, there is a small report on there site, just usual jargon of cash flow problems, paye tax arrears etc, I'd guess the cash flow problem was more to do with other areas of running a business. They have also taken one of my suppliers for a good sum, not nice but a way of the world.
