Endeavour Chandlery Portsmouth

Does anyone know if Endeavour Chandlery, Endeavour Quay, Gosport has ceased trading? I have a feeling they have reinvented themselves as Portsmouth Chandlery at a different address.

dunno but jane and her husband are doing a fantastic job of stocking the old premises. hope they do really well.

They have rebranded themselves and I believe are now called "Your Boat" or something similar and offer a pick it up of the water service. There was a bit about it in one of the sailing mags last month.

Nonono - the new chandlery at Endeavour's old premises, 'YouBoat', have nothing to do with the old Endeavour chandlery. Endeavour went bust I think, YouBoat are a completely different setup, one thousand times better.

Please don't confuse the two!

Endeavour Chandlers closed retail outlet in Oct 2009. Owner told me that he was concentrating on On-Line sales, costs of a shop not worth it, and as landlord was willing for him to vacate with no penalty he was off. Got some good closing down bargains, even free. Think they are now Portsmouth Chandlery.
