Oops!

The Ablution block in the picture is indeed the one that is being revamped

I stand corrected. Now I know the disadvantage of having pictures blocked in my emails!

What a relief, eh? I perhaps should apologise for having set this particular hare running, but it does seem to have revealed the breadth and depth of the appreciation (if not always actual use - no names, no pack drill!) of these fine amenities.

(P.S. And who'd a thought you could find clear water on the East Coast?)

We love the baths.... they are almost unused... and spotlessley clean. Swmbo thinks they are great!

As for the main block... its looking quite tired...... so good news indeed!

I hope they will put some sort of screen over the veluz windows... at night they act like a mirror and you can see down into the stall next to you and watch yer neighbor taking a dump.....

I no longer can use them at night.. puts me right off.....

I have had the pleasure of using the baths a few time over the last few years.
I do hope that they keep them.
It is most relaxing after a wet bumpy sail.

I agree and when the kids were very small, they wouldnt go near a shower, it used to sound like we were murdering them, it was the only way we could get them clean.

Not sure if there's any plans for said windows but will forward your 'after dark dump' worries to the powers that be in the morning!! :D

As already posted, it is the separate block near the ramp down to BCDEF pontoons, there's a notice on the door there. Reading the planned improvements, I'm sad to see there's no mention of hairdryers. Almost every other marina shower block has hairdryers - why not Shotley? Or are East Coast sailors follicly challenged?
