Does anyone in Scotland or NE England have one of these fine craft? I am hoping to organise a championship (a rather grand name for sailing about in company with a wee race thrown in) at North Berwick on 30 August, and it would be good to have more than one boat.

You missed the boat a bit, since the proposed race was on 30 August 2008! However I will have another go at organising a Championship if you are free, probably on 13 August 2011, at North Berwick, East Lothian. Presume you would be happy with the simple measurement rules being no carbon fibre spars or spinnakers.

Regrettably I'll be sailing Lizzie May in company with the Scottish Gaffer fleet (www.scottishgaffers.org) way out West then, so I'll need to find a smallish skipper to put the littlest lugger through her paces. All the best for the event. Jago

Wow. You must need a big anchorage to accomodate that lot. What a great sight.

Sorry you can't make the muster at North Berwick with your wee boat, but I am sure that I could find crew for her if you want her to take part in the championship.
