Went down to Lepe Beach this morning for our Christmas morning walk. It felt really weird in that there was nothing about on the water, not even the Red Funnel ferries. Hope you are all in tbe warm and enjoying your Christmas turkey altbough those suffering power cuts may be better off on the boat!

We did our annual Boxing Day pilgrimage to Cowes from Swanwick - beautiful hole in the weather between 2 storm fronts and as you say no-one about except the Cowes Corinthian race and some dinghies knocking about in the Hamble. Coffee and mince pies in Cowes and a lovely run back - doesn't get any better. Season's greetings to all

Hi Stuart,

What a lovely tradition, easy to keep up so long as you have the right boat for the job ;)

Keep it up ! & have a Happy New year.
