There was no wind yesterday, so we motored round to a local bay and anchored for lunch. There were no other boats around and we were having a lovely " siesta" when there was a knock on the hull!!!
Now the only reason I could think of for a knock on the hull was if we were dragging our anchor, so I bounded up on deck to see we were in exactly the same place as before, but with a large HM RIB alongside. " Are you a local boat sir?. We're just doing safety checks and wondered if you would like one"
You could see the barely suppressed grins.
Is this an invasion of privacy??
