hi all,
we have a 05 sealine s34 with the eltrim trim tab system, 4 buttons and led,s , the bottom button , the one to level/ glide boat no longer works, anybody know a way to fix this, bow down and port and starboard work ok, I just can not lift them up, can the unit be repaired.. thanks

There've been detailed threads on sealineforum.co.uk regarding repair of both the motors and the control panels.

If you're reasonably handy with a soldering iron it's an easy fix - did mine on a sealine 255 many years ago.

Switches readily available. Disassemble panel, unsolder old switch, solder in new one.

On a similar note... I believe my switches are no longer working on my eltrim trim tab controls (see pic below). Where can I get a replacement unit, or replacement switches to solder on? Or can I send this off to someone to fix for me :)

I had issues with an identical unit alnunn.
I could have fixed it as I identified a problem with the rocker switches.
But I bought a new one like this.
Expensive but at least it has pretty lights that tell you where the tabs are.
Came with an adaptor plate as it is smaller than the one that I had.
And I was able to install it myself in under an hour.

Thanks! Was it a direct fit with the existing connections? I'm sure if you have the know how it can probably be repaired. Seems a shame to have to splash out on a new unit if it can be easily fixed...

The switches are fairly standard to repair the old one, but the new unit had the advantage of up port down starboard.
The switches on mine had corrosion within them so were shot
The gauges were not the easiest to read either.

They are a like for like swap.
The cables on Eltrim are numbered.
So fairly easy to wire up.
