Brilliantly reliable electric tabs manufactured in Germany, problem is Eltrims UK distributor namely RYB, Racecourse Yacht Basin, Windsor. have gone into receivership, with no other UK distributor and urgently requiring some new rubber bellows I'm truly stuck.

Calls E/mails/faxes to Eltrim in Germany go unanswered, any ideas out in the ether.
 
In theory you can buy them from Sealine via one of there distributors. Or the factory assured me you could the other day, when I was talking about the spares status.

Be interesting to try it, if you can't I will have a go at Kidderminster next time we are talking.

Having crossed the channel with one trim tab stuck right up and the other right down because the control pcb was corroded badly, I don't agree about their brilliant reliability. The pcb was totally unprotected, which for a marine environment is appalling quality. I repaired and properly encapsulated it.
Still maybe they've improved since then.
 
I bought new switches for mine from ryb a couple of months ago. Whilst in receivership they were still trading, have they stopped now?

Just a couple of stockists of Eltrim spares is what would be useful if you have them. Not looking for any kind of recommendation or approval.

Any Sealine dealer should supply them.

I am interested if they will, as it means I have to look closer to cover our spares for Sealine.

I happened to call into RYB now trading as Tingdene last Sunday week after LIBS and they are trading as normal.
Least that is what I was told and on some leaflet I picked up listing the boats they had for sale they also listed Eltrim as an agency, so one would assume they have and still can source parts for these trim tabs. Maybe I am wrong but that was my impression.
 
Just tried calling them and yes they are still supplying all Eltrim units and spares. Currently out of stock of the rams but expecting a shipment from germany in the next 10 days or so and have taken my details.

Mebbe they didn't receive my previous message....
 
Thanks for all the help chaps, I am so desperate that I contacted Eltrim's Finnish distributor Nautikulma Oy, and they speak excellent Queens english.

Rubber bellows in stock postage cost minimul & guaranteed two day drop!!! can't believe it.

RMB Windsor, still can't get the vital bits, trying to resolve the matter but have to pay up previous overdues, their own words... An opportunity for some other distributor to take up the mantle, thought about it myself, but prefer to spend money than make it these days & nothing but nothing resticts by boating time.

Sorry to hear some units failing I imagine due to wet rolling breezy fly-bridges or other exposed positioning, my enclosed wheelhouse offers luxury more in alligned to our climate.
