Elling E3 build continues

Ah, in the US I believe they were sold by the Canadian arm of Neptunus under the Rock Harbour brand. This arrangement has gone now, and they're selling direct from NL as Elling - seems to be a bit of a push going on over there now.

Yes, that is true. I think US and Canadian boaters are starting to think about the cost of fuel. This design is unique in that it offers style, single deisel, decent preformance and low use of fuel. They do not have many compeitors.

More photos for the interested....

Top mould was craned in place on Friday, but not yet secured (a job for Monday).

Port side is accessed from the galley - and thats a monster air filter compared to the filters on the Volvo 63s. The pump is for the sump and gearbox oil changes.

Very nice, now be a good boy and put it away.

Can you tell me where you got the radiator fitted in the saloon?

Can't find a supplier of mini radiator anywhere and have even considered using a car oil cooler.

I'll ask next time I'm at the yard. The heating system is a Kabola system though - so you could ask them (or a UK supplier of their boilers).
