Ellen sinks Perfect Match

This is the headline I am hoping to avoid in the Sunday UK newspapers. I plan to head out of Portsmouth mid Saturday morning in my Bavaria Match 35 "Perfect Match" and watch the Grand Prix division of the RTI Race passing Ryde.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a safe vantage point?

Might be worth leaving a little earlier as by mid-morning they may well have finished.

I received an email from Team Ellen yesterday. It mentions a 7am start and a slow race of possibly 6 hours.

My thinking is that 11am off Ryde should do but I take your point, if the wind picks up a notch those machines will scream around.

From recent press, you might be able to dry out upright on Ryde sands........be careful.
