Anyone know where I can get an electrosan system from? Basically, it connects to the heads kind of like a maserator, but does some cleaver stuff to the stuff so that 'treated sewage' can be pumped into the sea. Supposed to replace holding tanks and can be used in marinas - so I'm told.

Any onfo on this piece of kit would be great. Many thanks.

G'day Craig,

Most Caravan outlets should be able to point you in the right direction, but make sure you have all the information.

If you run the Themosan at low engine rev's you will not be at all popular, not only will you produce a lot of smoke, but the pong of burning raw sewage is not soon forgotten.

The rate of disposal is not high, so if you plan to install one on a sailing vessel, expect some extra running hours, oh, and don't use it if sailing downwind or you might have a few feeling a bit sick from the pong.

Had one on a boat in the bay of Islands - couldn''t get it to work but meant to be a great bit of kit and obloigatory in some countries. Requires serious amps when running. Not seen any distributor in UK though.

<font color=blue>I had two on a previous boat. Useless! Got rid of them in the end and replaced them with Porta Potties. Damn things were forever going wrong.

TRy Lee Sanitation - they do most things to do with Marine toilets. Don't know their Tel no but they do have a website - do a search on google

I think you mean Lectrasan made by Raritan in the US. Try raritaneng.com or do Google search for Lectrasan. Product has good reputation over here in US.
