Hi all,

Am hoping to do a deal on Sunday to buy some new Raymarine kit on the last day of SBS (yes I know I am hopefull:))

Am planning on buying the following,

C95 Plotter
RD418HD Radar inc Cable
I50 Depth
I50 Speed

Already have EV200 Auto Pilot and the basic Seatalk Starter backbone installed so all good there, my questions are,

1, Can I use my existing Speed/Depth/Temp transducers which are currently connected to ST60 displays or do these need to be replaced with new transducers?
2, What else except the appropriate Backbone/Spur/T connectors would I need for the install?

Will be repeating I50 displays on lower helm and using an Ipad instead of 2 C95's

Should have said current VHF is 240E

As always many thanks for your help.

Andy

Andy, you don't happen to be replacing an old and decrepit, outdated and quite useless C120 plotter? If so, to save the walk all the way up to the rubbish bin, you could just leave it in Tulana's Cockpit..... I'll dispose of it for you. ;)

I have a good C120 for sale if interested,

You should find the transducers are ok, you will either need a STNG to seatalk1 converter or connect VHF to nmea output. how is it wired now?

Hi James,

Sorry no C120 but 2 E80's in goodish nick along with Radar etc

I have a old Autohelm Nav centre 600 size of hole to fill, 13" x 9, thought a C120 would be the one & still communicate to old Auto pilot ST6000 via seatalk... but I guess a E80 would fit & do the same, not sure I can be bothered to change radar... the one I have seems to keep the fog away. Sorry gate crashing your post anyway.. will have a think.
