Well I'm a beginner. Can someone tell me why all my lights pulsate on/off, on/off....?

Wing nuts on the battery cables ?
Soldering crimp connectors on ?
Soldering yellow crimp terminals, meant for 4mm wire, onto 2.5mm wire ?
To name but a few.

Everything that is wrong with YouTube experts! Zero training or qualifications, buy a camera and some stuff off the internet and all of as sudden you're teaching people how to put an electrical system together.

I couldn't work it out until I realised I had the master switch OFF and the lights were working off the solar panels. I suppose the MPPT Controller was continually checking to see if the batteries need charging and each time the lights switched on brighter?Well I'm a beginner. Can someone tell me why all my lights pulsate on/off, on/off....?

Surely your master switch should isolate the circuit from the battery independent of the source of any charge?

It is easy to knock someone who is trying to de-mystify what to many of us is difficult to understand. Especially when they bring in their own pet hates/ways of doing things. I found the videos helpful.

Maybe that is correct though it doesn't worry me as I normally wouldn't have the lights on during daylight hours when the panels are charging. AND if I did have the lights on the batteries would not be isolated by the master switch.
The fact that I am not using the load output circuit of the M.P.P.T Controller probably doesn't help. (That is something I will have to look at)

Seems you have a very odd system if the input from the solar can bypass the battery and go straight to the lights. Surely your interior light circuits go from the DC distribution panel which is isolated from the battery when the master switch is off? That is the purpose of having such a switch.

and if it fails and causes an electrical fire because it's not built correctly. Will that be helpful? You wouldn't buy a new yacht/car/anything with botched electrics so how is teaching bad practice useful?
