Electrical Marne shop in Fowey, is it EVER open?

I have been in Fowey (prounounced Foy) for at least 15 days over about 4 long weekends since april.

At no point, has the electrical chandlers been open! I want to buy a radio! I am driven, even against the thought of saving a bit of cash, to buy local if i can, also i want to talk to someone about serviceing some other compononets that i already have!

Is it trading? Or is it just nearly always shut?

If its the same place, it was open last June (2005).

Don't suppose thats of much help to you though. Could catch a bus to Plymouth or Falmouth though.

Hope the weather is now improving, might be catching up with you in the next week or so!

I did find it open once.......bit like Brigadoon really appears once in 100 years.

I do jest though as I'm not there a lot but it has been closed most time that I have been.

Are you talking about the one just out of the town centre, near the ferry and car park?
It was open once and I had a look in. Nothing very exciting. Limited range and not very helpful. Frankly, I wouldn't bother going back.

yes monday to friday 0900 / 1700., they are very helpfull, and won't sell you what you don't want.
