Electric Volvo Penta oil bilge pump to end my misery?

What about sticking it down the crankcase breather hole? Or would that be a bit hit n' miss?

I use the dipstick on my KAD32, get's most of it out using a Sealy oil extractor

Oil scaveging tube is shown here for KAD32/42/43 and 300..

I have a KAD32 and I am certain I do not have an oil scavenge tube. In fact I'd put money on it. I've always taken mine out through the dipstick tube using a Pela and never had a problem.

Well its there on the schematic parts 30 to 33, says KAD32/42/43/44/300 etc... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif got them on my AD31P's too, mind I used the dipstick tube for two years until I sussed out what the other tube was for, it does get that last litre out much easier.

Gentlemen,

Thank you all for your comments. I've had a busy day going to the boat and making sure everything was ready for getting her back into the water (pics to follow).

Now I'm happy to report that we are tied up in the marina, boat floats, kids are asleep and I'm having a beer!

I'll be checking for that extra tube tomorrow.
