Electric toilet fitting

Hi has any one ever fitted a electric toilet I have a pump one and was thinking of swapping . Just wondered if any had fitted one thanks dilly

Not fitted one but they have a reputation of being somewhat noisy when dealing with a 'crocodile'. Not generally a problem if you have no female crew

The modern ones are quiet. Straightforward swap then add wiring.

Yes, had one on my boat for years. Can be a bit noisy at times. But SWMBO thinks it's terrific, so that's fine by me.

They have the same diameter pipe for both inlet and outlet which is different to both the Jabsco sizes, that means either a step up/down or new tail fittings on the through hull fittings.

Fitted two of them. Noisy, but they cope very well with solids, and macerate them into fish sized bites! They cope with loo paper, but nothing else. In particular they will jam with cotton wool, so you need to give a warning to the ladies: you block it, you fix it.

Mine works well but I have found that there is a technique to getting the bowl empty after a flush.
Some guests find it difficult to master!
