Whats the smallest battery any of you have used on an electric outboard please ? I use mine just to potter about and get across the Thames ( non tidal ) to my mooring . A 110AH battery is more of a pain to lug to the tender than it is to row across .

Old Car Battery

I run a Minn Kota Endura Pro 32lb off an old car battery which I think is 85Ah capacity. I took the battery off a car several years ago as I suspected that it was failing but it still runs the outboard quite well and I have run up to an hour at full speed. I only stopped because I was bored but the motor was still running well.

They had some small batteries at a recent show, that were half the size/weight for the same power. And they weren't twice the price, either !
