I might need to service the jabsco heads. A new assembly is worth the premium over a servic kit - time in hols is valuable - but the local chandler offers me an electric pump assembly for 180 euros. It’s a straight swap and a 12v connection. The wiring run is very straightforward to the panel. So it’s 6 screws.
Any pros and cons I am missing. We have two heads and I’ll leave the other one manual. So we have a backup. It’s basically 30 euros more than the manual assembly.

Yep totally agree re noise, just fitted one and blimey it's noisy, sounds like a poorly electric drill. However if you stand outside and listen the boat contains the noise, well mine does and so far my neighbours haven't heard it.
The current draw is fair, I think around 10amps but it's not on for long. I had to increase the wire size as its a 20ft cable run for me.
Saying all that it was dead easy to install and bar the flipping awful sound it makes, it beats pumping!
