Eleanor when she was in her prime.I'm afraid she looks rather sad at the moment. Will post some pictures of her current condition shortly.

What's the extent of the work, Roger? Are we talking refit inside, structural work, what? Are you able to do it all yourself?

Quite a bit of work over the next few winters, should be able to manage most of the work myself, if need be I will call in a shipwright for help or advice.
1 strip all paint and varnish. 2 remove all interior furniture.3 remove steel strap floors, new bolts as they have all rusted re galv floors. 4 New engine. 5 check hood end fastenings and garboards and re-fasten. 6 several area of timber need cutting out and replacing.7 rake out caulking and replace. 8.possible a few ribs..9. New cooker.
If in Barry call in and see the boat, she will be undercover in the club workshop, after coming up by road on the 24th.

I'd love to, I've been meaning to call down to the club for a while.

Number 9 seems the easiest! Good luck with it. I love seeing old things cherished and restored. Should keep you busy.
