Elan Impression 45

Any comments on this particular boat (or the previous Impression 444)? Built quality, seaworthy, comfort? Are they fast boats (taking into account their famous designer)? Comparison with similar mass production boats probably? Any comments will be appreciated.

Swedish friends in Greece were very happy with theirs when last seen in July. They're wintering in Kalamata so no recent news unless you happen to be around that way to ask. I believe they will be in Lefkas (without boat) for a week or so in January so I should get a chance of an update then although probably too late for you

The Impression range tended to be more on the cruising side, less performance oriented than traditional Elans.
Boats like the new GT5 seem to be back to the core Elan performance cruiser sweet spot?
