I have an option to charter one of these in the near future, what does the team think about them. And how many peeps could we sleep comfortably for a long weekend with a 50 mile round trip in prospect?

Thanks in advance.

I considered buying one of these before finally deciding on my presentt boat (X332) and a mate actually bought one. They are both quite similar - cruiser/racers, quick and responsive and so good fun to sail.
Accomodation will be comfortable for 4, cosy for 6 and intimate for 7 (they claim 7 berths by converting the saloon divan into a double berth). Depends who your crew mates are really.

You should have a great weekend. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

We had our honeymoon on one of these: cruising the West Country (Plymouth-Penzance) in a week. Great boat. Good for charter. It was comfortable for 2!!!

Got a fleet of them at our club, very popular with the racers in Poole. Are you sure you could stand the excitement though, bit like going from a Volvo to a Ferrari? Better get matching jackets for the crew too /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It is the one of best sailing boat of this size I have ever chartered. It was the two-cabin version which was comfortable with four on board. A friend of mine did it with six, but that would be a bit cramped for longer trips. Sailing fast and pointing closely, she really is something of a cruiser/racer, but still very comfortable to cruise in.
