I have recently reregistered on here due to having changed my email and forgetting my ybw password. I have tried to edit my profile and add an avatar but keep getting notice saying i may not have sufficient privilages etc. The site seems to be totally different/more complicated from when i first registered aprox 10yrs ago.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Eamonn, welcome back. Ash is correct, you now need to have a few posts to assure the moderation team you are not a spamming internet troll or a bot.
A quick PM to John Morris UK (moderator) should speed this up.

Thanks all for your advice. I am working on scripts for non contraversal posts!!:-D:-D:-D
Good meeting you guys and Dylan on sunday. It would be good to get the scuttlebutt gatherings back on track next season. I would reckon the cwsc pontoon wont be a suitable venue at least in the near future due to the gap left by the missing pontoon section, unless they reinstate it which there is no planson doing at present.

Hi Clydewanderer did you get this sorted? I'm in the same predicament. I'd like to pop a pic on my profile but get the following message:
Merrypup, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

ITYWF that as a new member your privileges are limited.

When you have made the required number of posts to be recognised as a trustworthy member and granted registered user status I think you will be able to add a profile picture etc as by then it will be assumed that you are not trying to post something rude!
