Can anyone advise how to test my echosounder which has an intermittent fault.
It's made by Philips and is part of an intergrated system along with windspeed/direction and boat speed.
I've checked the connections back to the 'blackbox' and to the instrument head and everything seems sound but for no apparent reason the damn thing starts and stops reading when it feels like it; the other instruments are O.K.
