Thanks from us too. It was a really super evening.

We had a gorgeous sail back down the Wallet on Sunday too (despite a nasty forecast).

We were delighted with the reception given to the Lithuanian mead in the posts above. We'll cast it as a challenge to the ECF folk for next year for someone to come up with something equally bizarre!

I was hoping to mount my sponge on the living room wall as it's the only thing I've ever won whilst sailing.

Unfortunately I was refused permission.....it might have been different if it hadn't been a used one!!!!

Jomo & Mrs Jomo also had a very enjoyable evening, with good (if short) sails both ways. Didn't make Clives little party, thought I'd prefer to continue living

He made the Sirenia gathering, then tacked up B Pontoon to Habebty. Was next seen chatting to Mr & Mrs Jomo.

Bernie had returned her hired legs and dress, and was to be seen in more normal trouser order.

Pity I had to return the hired ones, the regular legs weren't working very well on Sunday morning.

Thanks to Mr & Mrs Jomo for their hospitality on board the Ark Royal, thanks to Big G for proving the weather forecasters incompetent and providing lots of sunshine and fair winds and to the usual reprobates for making the ECF dinner a great success.
