Totals now standing at 15 boats and 51 people.
I have up-dated the marina and given them the boat details that I have.
I have also informed the Harbour Lights of likely numbers.
The weather is looking a bit challenging according to Wind Guru.
If you are dropping out of the berthing and or the meal please let me know.
If you do not have my mobile number drop me a PM by Wednesday evening.

Bernie confirmed booked in with us, Clive, so plus 1 for the meal. I think WO should still make it all the way to Titchmarsh, even with wind guru's current forecasts!

It would be about typical of my luck in the last couple of months if the weather rots up this sail - I actually have a crew coming & whats more he even knows how to sail (so he can tell me! )

double hmmm - A combination of the poor outlook, Marc still a bit wonky, my dodgey tennis elbows, and a harsh lack of days off... it's looking increasingly unlikley that Black Magic will make it with full crew.

I (and perhaps one other) will definitely be there anyway for the supper. Will confirm by midweek.

Looking today - Sat SW 6 (maybe + a bit), Sun NW 4/5. Wanted to leave B'sea before HW to get up in good time but Wallet may be a bit ugly!

So long as my crew doesn't drop out (and forecast doesnt get any worse) I'm still planning to give it a go - maybe a chance to test out the inner forstay / storm jib option and 3rd reef

Have updated our attendance. We are wimping out of the sail due to a combination of tides, lack of holidays, dodgy weather. (see I have learnt my lesson ) However, Paul and I will definitely be there for dinner - we've booked into a B&B in Walton!

I thought it was for the person who got closest to their target, in which case you must be well past your target.

I'm not sure if the prize winner is the person who proposed the target (How many miles has Chellors done?) or the person who achieved it.

and I thought it was the person who guessed the closest to the actual miles logged. It's not a competition to reach a target surely! Just to guess how many miles a forumite would do....

Hi Clive, just to confirm we are coming to the dinner still (4 of us) but won't now be bringing the boat as our plans for Sunday have changed and we wouldn't have chance to return her back to Tollesbury. Nothing to do with the forecast, honest
