Nar. I came down the Wallet yesterday and the water was blue and crystal clear, grey/brown?

Seems everybody on the EC wears rose(blue)-tinted glasses so it was rejected

That would not convince Mrs H, who said only the other day (though not for the first time by any means) that a muddy green was the best it gets on the East Coast - and she swims in the stuff. I chose the blue background, but I'm pretty sure she'll remark critically upon its infidelity to truth.

I voted for blue because I already have a couple of burgees with substantial amounts of white on them, and after just a few months in London they look just horrible. Anyway, that's my personal and selfish reason!

If I was voting I would go for blue too, to match my eyes. Unless of course there is a red blotchy option?

Not yet qualified to vote here - but may be next season. I'd comment that sans-serif fonts look better from a distance, and that the coastline is a bit too fiddly - a more stylized map might be better.

Unfortunately we had a month to comment on the design and that closed a week ago. By the time the coastline is cut it is going to be smoother.

Valid comments all but this design/decision process could go on almost indefinitely unless we put a brake on it and apply a little benign dictatorship into the mix.
That said my fav didn't even make it this far.
So the choice this time round is as above and it looks currently like the blue's have it.
