As it will be Jan and my first attendance at an ECF function, can I enquire what is the dress code - if any?
We are looking forward to meeting fellow forumites, AFAIK PyroJames is the only member I have met.

A little taster from the 2009 Laying Down Supper. We have a very strict dress code, STRICTLY no black ties.

With regret I have had to make the decision to pull out, hope everyone has a good time. I'll be in Suffolk early next week so I'll pop over to Sailorman to collect goodies there, and Morgana will hopefully be acting as courier for goodies going both ways so hope everything is sorted in that direction

I have had to cancel the booking with Royal Harwich YC, as they dropped in some onerous charges and constraints at the last minute.

Just to repeat that for the hard of reading.

Instead, we have had to return to the safe venue of The Shipwreck at Shotley Marina.

I will be getting the current menu from Sarah at the Shipwreck at 6pm, and will post it tonight if possible

I am very glad the The Shipwreck can accomodate us.
I hope the Marina can do the same.
It would be nice if all the visiting boats could be allocated a berth in the same area.

Spoke with Sarah at Shotley, all looking good, new menus coming down the pipe this weekend sometime.

A real 'can do' attitude.

I have just spoken to Rob at Shotley and have provisionally booked G pontoon (linear vistors pontoon) for Sat 10th pm to accomodate at the mo 8 boats (rafted if required) on the understanding it may be +/-2 either way - no problem says Rob. Told him one of us will get back and confirm asap - club rate will apply at £1.90/m compared to usual £2.20.
