With the sad disappearance of ExFinnSailer and MrsSeaMistII is any one aware of the details of the arrangements that have been made with the Royal Harwich Yacht Club?

Is there anyone on the forum who is a member of the RHYC or has contact with the club who could find out what has been agreed?

It was understood that the agreed date was 10th April 2010.

Clive, I will take up the cudgel and phone RHYC tomorrow to talk venue, menu and mooring space. Will report back.

I don't know why they decided to leave either.

Wingdiver and Mrs Wingdiver were intending to come but I now have a gig that night (up the road at the Spread Eagle in Ipswich). :(
Looks like Sailorman will have to find his way to RHYC without backup! :D

Well I do hope you can pop in and say Hello to those moored in Woolverstone for the night, before you skedaddle off to the Spread Eagle!

I am a member, and Jan and I would like to attend.

I have just telephoned the office and spoken to Mary the Secretary. She confirms that the function is booked on 10th April, and space for 12 boats has been reserved in the Club Marina. If Stephanie Johnson is no longer co-ordinating, whoever takes that on needs to contact the Club and speak to Mary or Kathryn, tel no 01473 780319.

The numbers and menus etc., can then be organised. Hope this helps.
