ECF events in 2015

Sat 11th Walton on Naze (BST)
1034 0.8m
1654 3.7m

Early departure on Sunday or 'fight' the neap tide - maybe a lie in and creep out at Low Water!
You could get out of Bradwell by 0900 on Sunday and be off Holland-on-Sea by the change in the tide so just a small punch round the Naze and up with the tide. Of course it will be blowing a NE by Sunday following Saturdays SWly.
:ambivalence:

Bradwell is good as last year's do was excellent and Gitane is there all ready.

I think Apogee also made it to Bradwell last year as well.

Gitane

We could almost walk on a very low spring tide.... :D

However the epic trip across from Tollesbury SHOULD be within our capabilities as long as the sun is shining and we have gentle winds

Can we follow you across, we haven't done that journey before. I haven't seen the creek for years, as it was zero vis fog when I came in in January

I have never succeeded in making it to any ECF events but the pictures suggest that they are fun.

Any remaining interest in a Boulogne trip?

They are fun. Come along. The last supper had 40 people of which 16 were first-timers. Cliquey we ain't.

CPD (Alan) came up with the Boulogne suggestion but no date has been suggested yet. I'm up for it. Alan's boat is in the Solent but we still talk to him!
