Before I post it in the forsale, I wondered if any east coasters would like this...

I have a D2 in my stern locker (uniftted) which I'm going to sell. I have to be honest in that I've never tried it to make sure it worked, but I was sold it with a promise that it did and had just been serviced. It does look looked after, but I can't make any similar promises having not tested it.

It comes with the full loom, fuel pump and a new S/S mounting bracket.

I'm open to offers. I paid £450 in the middle of winter for it, and I'm not trying to make a profit, just float my finances a little, so I am totally open to offers.

I've got my eye on the vancouver 27 next to me, so if your offer could go someway to paying for that, I'd appreciate it, and indeed name my firstborn after you.

Hi Nathan this should be in the For Sale Section but the limit is £200 so thats all you will get .. I would try ebay ..

Maybe I could sell two half shares in a heater for £200? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

No, seriously, if anybody from the ECF wanted it, since I've had so much help from here, I would sell it for considerably less than it's worth, hence posting it here first. It was intended as a return of kindness, not a freeride of gain, but my apologies for breaking the rules.

Wouldn't worry about that on here Nathan, it's an old argument and one that's never going to be sorted until the powers that be make a decision. Not up to us really, but I couldn't afford it even if I had room for it anyway

Exactly why it's going /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If I'm still doing this trip in the autumn, then I'll wish I'd not sold it, but the reality is that without an engine to charge my national grid, I just couldn't sustain the thing.

I hear through the grapevine that there's a skint boaters society out there in Yahoo somewhere, I'm waiting for the invite to join but the bloke that runs it kicks anyone off if it sounds remotely like they have money /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I should be alright on that score anyway /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Would that be the one run by Charlie, the beast of Bideford?

He wants to see up to date photos of Sixpence now, having enough problems with this internet connection so he might have to wait a bit for that /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
