Are there any engineers that can service an Eberspacher air heater in the Reading area?
Depending on the age and the work required it may well be worth considering a brand new heater.
The cost of servicing a Eber or Webasto can exceed the cost of a brand new "clone" replacement by a considerable amount.
You could spend £200-300 pounds getting it repaired/serviced and still have a 20 or 30 year old heater .
Lots of caveats about Chinese heaters but worth thinking about.
Fitting can be DIY job as most of the connections ie, fuel and hot air etc are very similar. Proffessional installers will fit these heaters.
Unless they are Eberspacher/Webasto dealers- why kill the golden goose?![]()
Suspect there will be those able to afford the services of the legacy dealers.
As for those with reservations about the connotations involved with buying a Russian heater, do wonder where the components for the Web/Eber stuff are sourced.
