My 1 year old, just serviced Eberspacher D4 heater packed up yesterday. It had been working fine on Friday and late Saturday night but would not kick in on Sunday morning - The timing unit lights up but there is none of the usual start up process from the heater, in fact no life at all. The only thing I can think of, is there is not enough juice in the batteries, although I did run the engine and then try to start it up but still no joy. Any clues?

Apologies if this is stating the obvious but is the thermostat set too low? If so this would stop the unit from kicking, wouldn't it? Tech stuff beyond that is not my strongpoint I'm afraid......

Best of luck anyway.

Yes it was Krueger that serviced it - waiting for them to get back to me - but if they take as long as they did to reply to my request to service it, the season will be over

My 6 month old DL eberspachertinghy just would not kick in - nothing - the programmer was OK - I tried three resets (Power down) no joy. It turned out to be the controller board.
New one fitted under warranty - all OK now, I never did think the old one worked properly.

Had a similar problem with mine once. Turned out to be an inline fuse where the chunky powerleads are joined into the engine power leads etc.

Also after just running in a Navtext arial this weekend I had the opportunity to look at my heater up close and personal. There do seem to be a couple of relays with the unit have you checked these?
