I need to replace the little green pads which sit inside the eberspacher housing and prevent the very hot metal of the heater body from contact with the plastic outer body.
Many used heaters arrive here with these pads missing and often there is evidence that the plastic covers are distorted and burnt.
The pads are about 1mm thick, they are fairly stiff but can be bent to clip into a sort of recess in the heater body. A dab of high temp glue would help but I suspect will soon dry.
I am looking for a source of the ‘real thing’ or possibly an alternative in common use.
Any ideas please?
