Eberspacher Exhaust Sealant

I'm about to fit the exhaust in my eber but remember how difficult it is to get an air tight seal with just the clamps from the last time.

Would a high temp silicone gasket sealant help?

Thinking about getting this

If you never want it to come off again Gun Gum will stop any leaks.
