Eberspacher Easy Start Web

Good morning, is anyone else experiencing problems with remote access to Eberspacher via their "East Start Web" service?

Historically its worked fine, other than occasionally dropping login details from app.

Today neither the app nor browser interface will connect?

First thing this morning, I couldn't even login, now its saying "the heater is not responding" - once it said "no connection between Easy Start and server".

https://www.eberspaecher.co.uk/ is down, and social media channels suggest they had a major cyber attack last month, but Easy Start was back up.

Perplexed of East Cowes?

Sorted, emailed Eberspacher in Germany, and had a reply within the hour

Yes, we are still fighting against the cyber attack, but EasyStart Web for end users is not affected and should work.
To solve your problem I made a reset and a software update on your ESW module.
Please check i fit works now. And if there is an error message „no connection…“ Don’t believe it for the first time. Sometimes this message is faster than the system itself.

All working now. I can think of one or two UK marine suppliers who could learn from that response!
