Eberspacher D3L diesel heater wiring diagram needed!

Help, my dad is rebuilding a Bates Starcraft that has one of these fitted. When I say fitted, the previous owner sat it loosely behind a panel with half the connections done! I need a wiring diagram to finish a proper instal, but can't find one anywhere. I've done a search on here and on their website with no joy?

I've still had no luck sourcing a wiring diagram, so here's a picture showing where I am. The rotary dial is the new switch, however, the plug wasn't connected and the wiring colours don't follow exactly. Any ideas? Thanks

I have a D3L with associated installation and operation instructions on my boat. My thermostat is the one at bottom of page 2 in the details L'escargot sent you with the switch to the right above the thermostat picture. I imagine you will get all the information you need from these details but if not let me know. I won't be back at the boat until November so plenty of time to try things out!

Be aware that vehicle wiring uses different colours to marine and you will need the make of vehicle get the right colours as each maker uses their own colours to correspond to their vehicle loom.

Thanks for all the replies, by the look of it my switch is the one on the right, No 8. It has a click anti-clockwise to vent, then heat is clockwise. All the parts are Eberspacher, it's just a case of getting it to work!

The bottom line, if you put positive to the yellow wire then the thing fires up, end of! The rest of the stuff is just a way of controlling when the positive gets to the yellow wire!

These guys are great, I emailed and got a very long and comprehensive reply from Roy. He confirmed a few things but gave me some more info which meant I managed the wire the heater without buggering the control unit up. They really do know their stuff
