Eber' D3L replacement

Hi,

I am looking to replace my Eber D3L hdiesel heater with one the Chinese models.

Access is very difficult so I want to keep as much of the original - inlet, outlet, diesel feed/pump.

Has anyone done this and could recommend a model. Looking there are so many variants I don't want to waste my time / money!

Plenty of posts here already, but apart from hoses (if in ok state), you'd have to use the parts delivered with the heater. Exhaust silencers commonly need to be upgraded though as the Chinese standards are not fit for use inside a boat (designed to let condensation drip out on the road + fumes.)

It appears to be currently out of stock, but the website has plenty more, as has eBay:
There is also a large Facebook group devoted to this kind of heater, and there are multititudinous searchable threads on these fora on the same topic. If the YBW search is not productive, a general Google search will bring you to the same threads more efficiently, (if your search words are good!)
The general consensus is that it's a good idea to buy three of these heaters so that you have two for spares.

No link in your reply. I have tried searching YBW but nothing specific to D3L so will have a look on FB.

I replaced my D3L with a Planar 4kW unit. It came with new pump, controller and short exhaust with marine silencer. I did need to buy some ducting of larger diameter and a new larger first outlet.
