Following the excellent advice from some forum members I have put my boat up for sale on ebay via my son in law's account.

Shortly after it went live he sent me a link to it and low and behold there my pride and joy was.

Got up this morning to do a minor edit and was not able to see the advert. It would appear that ebay thought it was a fraud so blocked access.

Son in law rang ebay and explained the situation and was told it would be back up later today.

Well done ebay!

Well done ebay!

What number did he use to call eBay? In days gone by, I was never able to find a phone number and communications had to be via somewhere on the site.

At the top right hand on your "My ebay" page is Help & Contact hover and it and it will drop down a menu click on Contact Us Phone / Chat it opens a page with the options Buying, Selling, My Account.
In the OPs case he will have clicked on Selling and then got the select box on the top right with eBay rules and Policies hight-light and click on "My Item was removed" the next page comes up with to the right is "Call us" hit it and a dialogue box will come up with the phone Number 0845 355 3229 and a passcode: ******** This passcode will identify you when you call so we can provide faster service.
and there you go a bit fiddly but it works, I have used it a couple of times and had a very quick results.
