EBay Account Compromised. Are you one of the 2%.

On checking my EBay items for sale. (A boat and a House in France)
I find that my account has been compromised.
Persons unknown have been able to access my selling account and list 8 items for sale.
For a 2 day period.
So presumably anyone seeing the listing and seeing my Boat and House for sale and my perfect buying history would assume that the item for sale was genuine, pay for it, and it would be a scam.
EBay have removed them. But what if I had not checked the listing. After 2 days they would have disappeared.
I asked EBay if this happens often and they said in about 2% of cases.
Thats a lot when you consider the site to be safe.
Change your password frequently. Thats what they said.

don't use the same password on ebay that you use for any other sites/email etc

often folk get hacked from sites like this that themselves get hacked if you see what i mean

my ebay account was similarly compromised, it was at the same time as this site was hacked with some gross pics
