Maybe being optimistic here, but unless something else goes wrong or the Guapacast is less than appealing, we may well be aiming for Lowestoft (advance warning) so if anyone else is likely to be in the area, there may well be an ickle Debutante heading your way /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Anyone got any plans in mind ?
Hope this optimistic post doesn't jinx the weather now /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Know what you mean but if the weather does look good we're aiming at a full day sailing to get there, then spend a day there leaving the choice of two days for the return trip. Very very weather dependant at this stage though, it's a fairly long trip and there aren't many places to run if it does turn nasty

Are you coming from Fosdyke? To come out of the Wash and go to Lowestoft is a very very long trip indeed.

Boston to Lowestoft is 90 miles
King's Lynn to Lowestoft is 92 miles.

From Fosdyke it must be a bit further. If you passage plan at 4 knotts then this is a 23 hour journey, but as you say a long day! Too long for me.

Good Luck

If, and I do mean if, everything goes to plan, I'll be moving around the coast bit by bit to start with. May well be looking at Wells as the start point but at this stage it's more a case of finding out if anyone is planning anything interesting. Wells to Lowestoft is still a good day sailing but at least I'll be in open water sooner
